on the shore away from bay and marsh completely in a dry area

salt marsh mission bay in mud a few feet away from water

poppy growing right on the cactus

looks like a daisy. grew independent from other plants and didn’t see many on the trail

seen growing on a ledge of the trail away from the walking path

possibly lemonade berry or sumac?

very large yucca

was very hard to get a clear picture but it’s a honey bee on a deerweed plant

two deerweed plants right next to each other but this was blooming and the one next to it wasn’t

long beak. seen in water and near shore. runs quickly
