Stairstep Moss

In prior weeks, we could observe the moss quite vividly in comparison to the other plants, but the week of march 26th proved to indicate new changes to the organism. The moss had brightened from a dark to light green. It looked healthier and was spreading around the tree it was growing on. The temperature had risen in comparison to the last couple weeks and there was mud on the floor instead of the snow that was observed in previous weeks.
