Identified as Laxta on Bowerbird by Gordon Claridge: "Glenda it's a trilobite cockroach, genus Laxta. Very difficult to get to species from photographs. Looks like it could be the same as this one from Vinegar Hill in the Lockyer Valley http://www.bowerbird.org.au/observations/51362"
These insects were about 8 - 10 mm long, seen on the leaves of different kinds of rainforest plants. They were very fast runners. They look like slaters or woodlice, but I have never seen those on bushes, only on the ground. Are these the larval form of some kind of bug?

Centipede just happened to be in the photo. Scorpion about an inch long.
Biggen
