The Australian Crake, also known as Australian Spotted Crake, (Porzana fluminea) is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is endemic to Australia, where its natural habitat is dense reedbeds, shallow open water and mudflats or floating vegetation in fresh or salt water wetlands including lakes, swamps and salt-marsh. Can also be found far from water.
