Dianella longifolia, commonly known as the blueberry lily, is a tufted, rhizomatous, perennial herb with pale blue flowers. Roots may be fleshy-fibrous or tuberous. It grows to 0.8 m in height. A widespread species in north and eastern Australia. This is one of the many plants first published by Robert Brown with the type known as "(J.) v.v." appearing in his Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae et Insulae Van Diemen in 1810.
