Description
A very common amoeba in samples from a brownwater lake attached to the Mer Bleue Bog. The specimen was air-dried on a tab of conductive carbon tape, and imaged in SEM at the Canadian Museum of Nature.

Description
This plant was again present in 2014, However the growth of Typha latifolia was doubled from that in 2013. The growth of T. latifolia in 2015 was again much denser than in 2014 to the point where it was the dominant vegetation. Pistia stratiotes could not be located and not since.

Apparently due to a bacterial infection, maybe from the Wooly Catkin Gall Wasps ovipositing holes?
