As a bonus of the Lowlands Copperhead, a Saratus hesperus/Maratus hesperus peacock spider just jumped on the tail of the copperhead!
Note on pic 2 the spider is slightly covered by a grass.

Red-faced Jumping Spider (Saitis sp)
- ~4mm long
- Red face
- Yellow/orange hairy palps
- Waved 3rd leg (couldn't get a photo of it)
- Metalic Blue scales on 3rd legs
- White hair on the inside metatarsusi of the 3rd legs
- A strange red structure behind it's head
- Large rear eyes
- 3 vertical white stripes at the back of the head, and around the lower rim of the cephalothorax.
