Description

Larvas of Large White Butterfly (Pieris brassicae) at Meco beach,(geonames:10342405). http://www.geonames.org/10342405/

See http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/3029206 reported by @wouterkoch in response to @mattiamenchetti

The butterfly larvas are identified, but what was the name of the host plant? Here are two more pictures that might help.

I have now added the brassica host plant as a separate observation here: http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/3036330 (same eventID, but another organismID and occurrenceID).

PS: @wouterkoch I added occurrenceID, organismID and eventID, if you want to tie our reported observations together, you should include your own occurrenceID, but you could use the same organismID for both butterfly observations - and we could include the same eventID for both butterfly and host plant (if we can identify the host plant). In addition we could build a DarwinCore resourceRelationship (eg. preysUpon) between the butterfly and host plant...

dwc:eventID= urn:uuid:63498e10-0b21-11e6-a837-0800200c9a66 (same for both larva and host plant observation)
dwc:organismID= urn:uuid:3ac2f3a0-0b21-11e6-a837-0800200c9a66 (the butterfly larva)
dwc:organismID=urn:uuid:78988470-0bbb-11e6-a837-0800200c9a66 (for the brassica host plant)
