Uncommon bee fly. About 7mm wide, 25 mm long, wings about 20 mm each - it is sitting on a dried jarrah nut about 12mm in diameter. In forest alongside Brookton Highway after Karragullen. Fluorescent green back and fluorescent blue abdomen. Second photo lightened as sunlight was not shining on back of insect.
